Head EAC signed the Monetary Union Protocol which will provide for a
wide scope of co-operation in monetary and financial sectors among the
EAC Partner States and will further catalyze trade growth within the
region. We are now a people destined for greatness, prosperity and
happiness. Our borders are fast becoming mere formalities. As we
integrate, we cease to be a group of neighbouring nations, and become
one people. Let us think with one mind, speak with one voice and walk on
one road to our promised destination, “A better East Africa for all its
citizens”. UHURU KENYATTA
