He has just passed away today Saturday (30-Nov-2013) at a hospital in Brussels, Belgium at the age of 73.

¤You can't talk about Congolese Rumba without mentioning him especially his involvement in African Jazz of Joseph Kabaselle "Grand Kalle", African Fiesta (Him and Dr Nico Kassanda) and African Fiesta National (Himself) which was later changed into Afrisa International.
¤He has mentored a lot of musicians including Mbilia Bel who is regarded to be the best African female songbird of all the time.
¤He never cherished useless "beefs" and he has featured with all those big boys of his era. The biggest collabo might be "Lisanga ya Banganga" which he did with Franco Luambo Luanzo Makiadi.
